During your podcast #152 Genesis 3:4 – 3:13, you indicate that Man made cloths for himself after they were confronted by God and ordered out of the Garden. However Genesis 3:21 indicates that God prepared cloths for them. Pls explain contradiction.

God willing, that class will be uploaded in the future. My brief, simple explanation is that the first rudimentary attempt by man to hide his nakedness with עלה תאנה “fig leaves” to make basic underwear – חגרת – (literally “belts” or “loin covering”) was not enough. So, God helped out by giving them much better coats/garments/outerwear (כתנות) made of skin עור. Interesting to note that apparently no animals were harmed in the making of the skin apparel (עור וילבשם) Hope that helps and thank you for listening!
